Winter Watchtower

"A blizzard has rolled in and the only shelter is your watchtower. You stay warm by the fire but all you can hear is the static on the radio getting louder."

My theme for this scene was "The Depth of Winter". I chose this theme because winter is always cold and unforgiving so I wanted to show the calmness within the storm. This is why I chose an indoor project because small rooms make you feel safe and secure from the bitterness of the cold. I chose a watch tower because it is more interesting and they are always in remote areas making you feel close to nature.

My favourite part about this project was that I can work on a smaller scene because I am always ambitious with my projects this tends to lead away from creating a story. However with this limited space and with small adjustments to prop placement I have made a room have atmosphere and created a story showing some one is living there.
